Guyana Marketing Corporation (GMC)
is the first government marketing agency to sign up for the CaribFresh listing
management service. Under this agreement, GMC will list all the stocks available
by its member farmers in Guyana on the CaribFresh website and in return will
receive integration of the system to its own website providing it with the
advanced functionality of an online catalogue. This agreement is a milestone in
the CaribFresh business plan and represents the first important step in the road
to dynamically list at the CaribFresh site the produce offerings in the region.

under section 46 of the Public Corporations Act, Cap 19:05 of the Laws of
Guyana, which has been working assiduously over the years to promote the
cultivation and export of Guyana’s non-traditional agricultural crops to
